Lovely post- brought a little tear to my eye. I will be giving my dad an extra big cuddle today for being such a good dad and Poppy. And a big cuddle for my kids’ dad who loves playing with his boys!

We also read ‘I spy dad’ (Janeen you may remember signing one for Katrina to give to her nephews!) at playgroup on friday and the kids loved it.

Hi Janeen

I read “I Spy Dad” to one of our Prep classes in the LRC today and they loved it! They had a great time talking about what kind of dad they had. Then they drew about their dad and I did the scribing. We had tickling, fixing, reading, sleeping, musical and gardening dads (and many more!) They are giving their work to their dads on Father’s Day. I’m not sure what the “lazy dad” will think though!!

Katrina, I met Janeen at the CLIC (Children’s Literature in the Centre) Festival in Alice Springs in 2008, and I agree with every word in the bio you wrote! Good Luck to you both with your ‘Dad’ books!
